Litwin PEL Capabilities

Litwin PEL Engineering has a successful track record completing both Onshore and Offshore oil and Gas Projects for Onshore Fields, Gas Processing Plants, Gas Gathering Stations, Pumping Stations, Petrochemical Plants, Refineries, Wellhead Platforms, Process Platforms, MOPUs, FPSO, Subsea pipelines, Topside Modification etc.

Hysys simulation is carried out to generate PFD and Heat Mass Balance Tables (HMBT). Then the P&IDs are generated and sent to other disciplines for review and Inter Disciplinary Check (IDC). PMT team controls the IDC and change control procedures and this ensures a coordinated Engineering effort across disciplines.

Mechanical Engineering

Our Mechanical engineers are well experienced in the Static, Rotating Equipments and Special Packages. We have the experience and expertise in preparation of specifications and Datasheets for various equipments used in the Upstream and Downstream Industry, Generate RFQs and review the technical bids supplied by vendors etc. We are well versed with various International codes like ASME, BS, TEMA etc.

Datasheets prepared are based on the standard formats, meeting the requirements of international standards and client specific standards. Mechanical design of pressure vessels is done using PV-Elite software.

Piping Engineering

Based on the Piping and Instrument diagrams and Equipment Lists, Layouts are prepared by the specialist Layout and Safety Team. All disciplines are consulted during the layout preparation. The layouts are sent for Inter Discipline Checks and review meetings are conducted by the PMT along with all disciplines. PMT team controls the IDC and change control procedures and this ensures a coordinated Engineering effort across disciplines. The layouts are passed on to the all disciplines for further engineering.

All the piping work carried out is modeled in 3D modeling software like PDS / PDMS. Structural Input from STAAD PRO, SACS, is imported into PDS / PDMS on a regular weekly basis. In some cases this is done on a need to need basis. However all changes are recorded and logged by the PDS/ PDMS administrator.  3D Model reviews are carried out by all disciplines on a regular basis and any change is controlled and monitored / by authorized PMT.

Pipe supports, Electrical and Instruments cable tray routing, E&I supports etc. are modeled and input in PMDS. Stress analysis is carried out using CAESAR software. Vendor data is used to model the major equipments and vessels including the Tie-in points and Nozzle orientations. 3D model is checked for clashes and clashes if any are resolved on a regular basis.

Structural Engineering

Structural Engineering analysis is carried out using STAAD PRO / SACS. STAAD PRO SACS model is used as a basis for all structural Engineering outputs. GRL WEAP is used to carry out Pile and Conductor drivability analysis.
